I see a lot of understanding for Joy in the comments, but honestly I dont see it. She picks Namsu, and then cheats on her right away. I know the story does not really make it clear how much time passes,but she went all her life without a partner so far, and now all of a sudden she gets to cheat because her actual girlfriend wants to take things slow? total bs. Sure she cries in the end, but I dont see how that makes it any better. I just see it as her being sad that she lost Namsu. I get that, but she did it to her self. Asking if Hye-Yeon will stay with her. Making it sound like she feels like Namsu abandoned her, when she was the one that broke up by cheating and then not trying to go back on her poor actions. but just going meh oh well, until she left. Honestly fuck that girl

rereading the ending, its honestly something i’d expect from pito considering their other work. i enjoyed the ending tbh. it was really gut-wrenching and very on-brand for pito. the anger in namsu after seeing the joy-hyeseon picture was really sad, you can really feel her frustration and agression, and it makes you feel MORE for her. i honestly applaud pito for sparking this much emotion in so many people, this deserves more stars, despite the painful cuckolding i had to see. seeing joy at the end finally break her smile and cry over namsu’s picture kinda had me happy tbh lol. it was satisfiying that in the end, not even joy and hyeseon are entirely happy.

Namsu took the fattest L in this series but its not like Joy and Hye-Yeon were happy in the end either. Joy and Hye-Yeon are friends they were never in a romantic relationship. All Hye-Yeon ever wanted was for Joy to like her back romantically, but that never happens even in the end she’s nothing more than a friend (maybe a friend with benefits). As for Joy, there is without a doubt that she likes Namsu romantically, but because of her shitty decision, she lost the person she truly loved. Overall pretty good, I like well done bad endings and i consider this one a pretty good bad end.

It wasn’t Hye-Yeon that was wrong. Joy should’ve just told Hye-Yeon to be just friends instead of cheating on Namsu with her. Joy was selfish and decided to be with both without considering Namsu’s feelings if she found out. Whoever she wanted, she should’ve just rejected the other if she known it wasn’t gonna last.
